Is ceoltóir traidisiúnta ó Bhaile Atha Cliath í Libby McCrohan. Seineann sí bouzouki ciorcalach Gréigeach. Nuair a bhíonn sí ag tionlacan seineann si go mothúlach, séimh,rithimiúil. Togann sí ionsparaid ó cheoltoirí an phíb uilinn.
Ta Libby tar éis seinmt ar fud na hÉireann agus thar lear. Tá sí le fáil ar dhá thaifeadadh go fóill- an dlúthdhiosca aitheanta “ Heard a Long Gone Song” le Lisa O Neill ( 2018) agus “ Not Before Time”…39 years in the Making” le Páraic Mac Donncha (2018).
Libby McCrohan is an Irish traditional musician from Dublin. She plays a round Greek bouzouki. Her approach to accompaniment is sensitive, subtle and rhythmical, taking inspiration from the regular playing of uilleann pipers.
Libby has performed all over Ireland and abroad and has featured on two albums to date- the critically acclaimed “ Heard a Long Gone Song” by Lisa O Neill (2018) and “ Not Before Time…39 years in the Making” by Páraic Mac Donnchadha (2018).
